I have the same problem Selor, even if i have VS on they still strip PS instead... its really frustrationg... sometimes i get them killed then other times its all going well, then bang im dead

you have to make sure VS is the last enchantment you cast

It's not that hard to kill the mesmers. I did it a lot with my 55hp necro.
The way i do it is like this:
1. wait for (almost) full regen
2. target a mesmer
3. cast PS, HB, VS
4. cast SS and IP on the mesmer
5. As soon as you notice your VS is stripped, recast PS, HB, VS (always in this order, so VS works as a cover for your vital enchantements)

Normally the mesmer should go down before his shatter enchantement has recharged. If not, prepare to reapeat step 5

I thought monsters stopped doing anything if doing so would kill them, such as with SS or backfire etc.

Had a go at most of the areas, was pretty easy to kill (not tried fow yet though

) Shame the loot degenerates after the first couple of runs though :'( But great guide thanks

If you're talking about aoe fleeing, that only applies to melee based opponents. So if you had 10 shadow rangers all next to each other killing themselves with SS, they won't flee

Hey Witte.... first off... great guide!

I'm having trouble with the Titans in North Kryta.... the Water Titans seem to interrupt everything with Maelstrom. Do you just avoid them all together or is there a trick to it?

Ok last question

Previously someone said to farm Nolani Academy.... anyone else farm there? Are you farming in the Mission or the Explorable area outside of Nolani? And kind of build are you using?

Cause I've tried farming both with a 55 Mo/N, Mo/Me, Mo/D and W/Rit.... and got pwned.
